Currently there is enough food to feed the entire world. The problem right now is how much we are wasting, how gluttonous we are, and how the greed of the wealthy prevent them from sharing. Yes, in the future the worlds population will continue to expand, but there is no reason why we are not able to increase our production of food to feed the increased population. Many people in western nations have front and back yards… why not turn them into vegetable gardens? Use land to grow food, not just to look at.

this was one of the most rediculousarticles I ever red. so typical for u stupid americans… feels like a long advertisement for wal-mart, shop shop shop – or die. first of all we need to stop eatiing so much meat, so we can produce more food for the people. take away borders and tolls on food, let all countries produce food on an open market. Stop gene-modification on crops, dont fuck around with nature, it will only kick back twice as hard. the biggest reason for foodrriiots around the world last year was that food prices skyrocketed, mainly because of “the market”. profiting on peoples basic need and growing crops for fuel and our huge meatindustries. why do you always haveto scare the shit out of your population? will homeland security now make a colourcode for how close we are to armageddon? what scares me the most is that you people call yourselves cristians, then turn around and rape the rest of the world at your convinience…
